Our Purpose
In, But Not Of Women's Ministry exists to empower women to live as true image bearers of Christ in today's society. We provide a supportive community outside traditional church settings, encouraging women to step off the fence and stand firm in their God-given identity. Through discipleship, mentoring, biblical teaching, and educational resources, we help women experience the lovingkindness of the Father and cultivate meaningful relationships with like-minded sisters in faith. Our mission is to inspire and equip women to navigate the world with purpose and conviction, embracing the truth that it is okay to be in this world but not of it.
Through a blend of fellowship, learning, and spiritual guidance, we aim to create a nurturing environment where women can deepen their relationship with God and each other, fostering a community of empowered and enlightened individuals.

We believe John 15:19—"If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you."—is a call to action. In 2021, DeShearer answered that call with a resounding yes.

What We Believe

Triune God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the Creator of all things, sovereign over all creation, and worthy of all honor, glory, and praise. He is loving, just, and holy, and His purposes are perfect and unchanging
Scripture
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the ultimate standard for faith and practice, revealing God's will and His plan for salvation.
Salvation
We believe that salvation is a gift from God, offered to all who repent of their sins and place their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, and not by works. It involves the forgiveness of sins, reconciliation with God, and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, who empowers believers to live according to God's will.
Church
We believe in the universal Church, composed of all believers who confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, edify believers, and share the Gospel with the world.
Jesus Christ
We believe in Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, who was fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross as the ultimate sacrifice for humanity’s sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will one day return in glory to judge the living and the dead, establishing His eternal kingdom

DeShearer Gilbert, Executive Director
DeShearer is the founder of In, But Not Of Women's Ministry, a community dedicated to equipping women to live as true image bearers of Christ. With a passion for discipleship, biblical teaching, and mentorship, DeShearer holds a Master’s in Christian Education and has years of experience in ministry leadership, teaching, and event coordination. Her heart beats for empowering women to embrace their God-given identity and purpose, fostering spiritual growth through intentional community and transformative resources.

Layla Nguyen, our Program Development Specialist, spearheads the creation of impactful programs and resources for women's growth. With a creative approach and a heart for service, Layla ensures that our ministry offers relevant and engaging opportunities for women to flourish.
